Motorists should be aware of DUI checkpoints around the area this weekend.
Pennsylvania State Police will be setting up the checkpoints Saturday and Sunday at various locations in Allegheny, Armstrong and Butler counties.
Drivers should have their license, registration and insurance cards ready. Always drive sober and wear a seatbelt.
Pennsylvania’s ‘Steer Clear Law’ requires motorists to move away from vehicles stopped along the road or slow down if moving over is not possible. Those who do not comply could face fines up to $250 and license suspension.
