The new season of the Slippery Rock University Performing Arts Series kicks off Friday.
Women of the World, winners of a recent national a cappella competition, will perform a show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the University Union.
Women of the World spread a message of peace and unity through folk and traditional music in 29 different languages.
General admission tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, $18 for youth and $8 for SRU students.
