Twelve local Prisoners of War will be honored at a special ceremony and lunch on Friday.
VA Butler Healthcare’s annual POW/MIA recognition ceremony and luncheon is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Friday and continue until 1:30 p.m.
Friday is National POW/MIA Recognition Day and this ceremony is presented to honor the sacrifices service members and families have made.
This is an invitation-only gathering.
