High School Sports Scores from Wednesday:
Girls Soccer:
Pine-Richland-4 Butler-3. Butler fell behind 2-0 by halftime, but had battled back to take a 3-2 lead with just under five minutes remaining in the game. However, the Rams tied the game, then scored the game-winner with just over a minute remaining. It was the first loss of the season for the Golden Tornado. They host Moon Saturday at 1:30pm. (Butler JV won 2-0).
Karns City-5 Wilmington-0. Megan McCartney scored a hat trick for the Gremlins.
North Hills-3 Seneca Valley-2.
Knoch-6 McKeesport-1.
Riverside-2 CW North Catholic-1.
Golf:
Moniteau won their ninth consecutive Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference match of the season Wednesday at Pinecrest. The Warriors held off AC Valley/Union by six strokes. Kolby Montgomery of AC Valley/Union led all golfers with a 36. Weston Kimmey of Moniteau was second with a 39.

Girls Volleyball:
Karns City-3 Union-0.
Freeport-3 East Allegheny-0.
Junior high Cross Country:
Butler Boys split with Mars and Pine-Richland. Skyler Vavro and Josh Fry led the field, however Pine-Richland edged Butler 27-31.
Samantha Penrod led the Butler Girls to the finish line, but were swept in their meet.
