Moniteau edged Karns City by one stroke 239-240 in the sixth Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference “Mega-Match” of the season. The Warriors have won all six. Kennedy DeMatteis led Moniteau with a 41. Hunter Gifford and Logan Pistorius led Karns City with 42’s. Ethan Nevel of AC Valley/Union also shot a 42.
Girls Golf:
Butler-165 Armstrong-197. Hannah Folk led all golfers with a 37. Maggie Feczko had a 38. Butler and Seneca Valley meet Thursday at Connoquenessing Country Club.
Girls Volleyball:
Butler defeated New Castle 3-1. Emily Archer led Butler with six kills and six aces. Taylor Stein had three aces and four digs. Tabitha Walker had 15 assists and two kills. Butler will visit Mars Thursday.
