Firefighters responded to several blazes on Labor Day.
A Slippery Rock Township home was destroyed in a Monday fire.
This fire started just before 5 p.m. at a home on Stoughton Beach Road near Rock Falls Park.
No one was reportedly injured but it’s believed several animals were killed.
No word on the cause.
Just two hours later, firefighters were called to a home in Butler City.
Crews were called to a three-story home in the 300 block of West Brady Street about 7 p.m. Monday.
Several fire trucks were on scene.
No word on the extent of damage or the cause of the flames.
Earlier Monday, firefighters were called to a vehicle that had caught fire on Route 19 in Cranberry Township. This fire was reported about 1:15 p.m.
About 5:45 p.m., firefighters responded to a grass fire on East Main Street in Evans City.
At 6 p.m., crews were called to investigate a possible fire at a home on Madison Drive in Zelienople.
At 8:15 p.m., a vehicle reportedly caught fire on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Finally just before 9 p.m., firefighters were called to a possible fire at a structure on Sunset Circle in Cranberry Township.
