State police in Clarion were called to the scene of a one car crash on August 23, 2016.
According to the police report, 18-year-old Carter Shipley of Clarion, PA was traveling south on Curllsville Rd. when she lost control of the vehicle and crossed over the center of the roadway. The Ford truck then went off of the road and into the woods where it struck a tree. A 17-year-old passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Both Shipley and her passenger suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment. Shipley was issued a traffic citation.
