Crews responded to the scene of a house fire in Summit Township Friday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before noon of smoke coming from the basement of a house in the 100 block of Sullivan Road.
Units from Lick Hill, East Butler, and Herman responded to the scene to find a working fire. Early reports have everyone safely out of the structure. The fire was reportedly under control within a half hour.
The cause of the fire and extent of damage is unknown at this time. Motorists in that area should expect delays and avoid if possible.
