A local lawmaker received valuable feedback during a telephone town hall earlier this week.
10th Legislative District state representative Jaret Gibbons said that he will remember the concerns constituents shared when he returns to Harrisburg.
28 percent of those responding said the most important issue to them was job creation. When it comes to spending state money, 42 percent of those participating in the tele-town hall said that lawmakers should be focusing on cutting property taxes and funding schools.
Gibbons’ bill to toughen penalties for distracted driving accidents will be voted on by the full state senate in the fall.
