NASCAR announced Monday that beginning in 2017, all kids 12 and younger will be admitted free of charge to all X-FINITY and Camping World Truck Series races. The number of complimentary tickets available will vary from track to track with every adult ticket that is purchased. Monday’s announcement – made at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina – helped kick off “Kids Drive NASCAR,” a week-long youth initiative leading up to this coming weekend’s Sprint Cup-Camping World Truck Series doubleheader at Michigan International Speedway.
Will Power won the rain-delayed IRL race at Pocono Monday. It was his fourth victory over the past six Indy Racing League events.
