A local man has been charged with operating as an unlicensed car salesman.
According to State Police, 59-year-old Keith Smith ran the operation out of the Lube Pro on Route 228 in Adams Township between July 12th and August 5th.
Smith faces charges including theft of property lost, mislaid, or delivered by mistake for possessing two Maine long term trailer plates as well as 13 counts of application for certificate of title and 103 counts of return of registration plate.
It is not known what kind of penalties Smith could be facing as a result of those charges.
