A local group is inviting people to look to the sky this weekend at Moraine State Park.
The Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh is holding a Star Party Saturday from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Bike Rental Parking Lot on the North Shore.
This free family program will include a presentation as well as observations of stars and planets like Mars and Saturn through telescopes owned by members of the association.
Those attending should bring a lawn chair and bug spray. People are asked not to smoke or use flashlights or cell phones near the observation area. Bad weather cancels this event.
