State Police, including our local Troop D in Butler, will participate in a campaign beginning Friday to encourage sober driving.
The ‘Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over’ campaign is an effort of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to reduce impaired driving.
Troop D is placing an increased emphasis on enforcement with a proactive, zero-tolerance approach to the problem.
The campaign will continue through Labor Day.
