A Pittsburgh man has been charged with pushing in a window air conditioner to gain access into a Slippery Rock home.
Once inside, 20-year-old Dayvon William of Duquesne stole nearly $4,000 worth of guns, hunting bows and accessories, according to state police.
The alleged burglary happened late Tuesday night at a home on Weaver Lane in Slippery Rock Township.
Police say William is also accused of breaking a garage window in an attempt to steal a dirt bike but was unsuccessful.
William was apprehended by the Homestead Police Department and allegedly had most of the stolen items in his possession, with the exception of a .22 caliber rifle.
