Students and parents in the Mars Area School District should be aware of a planned outage of the district’s computer network.
The network will be shut down beginning the morning of Wednesday, August 17th to allow Armstrong Cable to do necessary work on the system.
The outage is expected to last several days, during which time district employees will not have access to e-mail or the internet. The outage will not affect any planned school events.
The district’s phone system will remain unaffected so anyone needing to contact a district employee should call as they normally would.
