Many hours of hard work will be unveiled at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday at the Butler County Children’s Center.
The Leadership Butler County Class of 2016 will celebrate the completion of their Early Learning Nature Trail service project in a wooded area off Rieger Road at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Light refreshments will be served and guests will be able to enjoy a walk along the trail following the ceremony.
The 900-foot long trail includes an outdoor classroom, a rock climbing/discovery area, an obstacle course and three learning kiosks. The trail was constructed around wet areas and the hillside as well as to be educational, safe, and accessible for young children and those with disabilities.
