Wine could be coming to a grocery store near you.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board just approved 81 expanded wine permits, many of which are for grocery stores.
The permits allow stores to sell up to three liters of wine per transaction from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
In Butler County, a small grocery store on Route 19 known as the Supersale Corporation will now sell wine. Several Giant Eagles in Allegheny County and New Castle are also on the list.
