Officials at the Transportation Security Administration say last week travelers were found with a record-breaking number of guns at airports.
TSA officers found 78 firearms in carry-on bags at U.S. airports. Of those, 68 were loaded and 21 had a round in the chamber.
Officials at Pittsburgh International Airport say a loaded 9mm pistol was found in a carry-on bag last week. It was the eighth gun found by screeners at the airport this year.
