A pedestrian was hit and killed early Tuesday in Armstrong County.
State Police say 22-year-old Annika Strom of Rural Valley was killed on State Route 1042 in Cowanshannock Township, which is east of Kittanning.
The accident happened about 4 a.m.
Investigators say Strom walked into the eastbound lane in front of a car and the 19-year-old driver did not have time to react.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was not hurt.
