A Harmony man will go to jail for causing a crash that killed his friend.
Alan Moser, 58, pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle and drunken driving as part of a plea agreement. He was sentenced by a Butler County judge last week to spend three months in prison, followed by several months of house arrest and probation.
Roughly two years ago, Moser and the victim- 44-year-old Daniel Watson of Harmony- were traveling on Route 19 in Lancaster Township when Moser lost control of his vehicle. Watson was pronounced dead at the scene.
