Monday starts ‘Bomber Week’ at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport.
The ‘Wings of Freedom Tour’ will bring four of the most famous WWII-era bombers for visitors to tour and fly in. It’s been three years since the last bombers were at the Butler airport and officials say there are only so many of these bombers still airborne today as the B-24 is the last known flying one.
Tours continue Monday from noon until 5 p.m.; Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Tours are $12 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under.
