The former Clarence C. Brown Education Center will hold an auction of a variety of materials later this month.
The auction will be held Aug. 29 at 5:30 p.m. and be conducted by John Huey.
Items expected to be auctioned include used desks, chairs, tables, school supplies, filing cabinets, a tractor with snow plows and kitchen equipment including a big fridge.
A hearing will be held Sept. 14 for the sale of the actual building.
The center closed earlier this year due to low enrollment. The facility provided alternative and emotional support for special needs students.
