The Pittsburgh Penguins traded winger Conor Sheary and defenseman Matt Hunwick to Buffalo Wednesday for a conditional fourth-round draft pick. The move saves the Penguins more than $5 million under the NHL salary cap, and will allow them to sign defenseman Jack Johnson. The 31-year old Johnson is expected to sign a five-year deal by the weekend. The Pens may also be interested in bringing back former winger Chris Kunitz.
