Two staff members of a juvenile treatment center were assaulted by a teen resident over the weekend.
The incident happened Saturday evening at the YES Academy in Mercer County.
According to State Police, the 17-year-old verbally threatened and then assaulted two staff members (a 47-year-old man from New Castle and a 24-year-old man from Emlenton).
No word if the teen will be charged or if the two victims were injured.
The YES Academy, which stands for Youth Educational Services, is a private facility specializing in the rehabilitation of juvenile sex offenders, fire starts and excessive aggressive behaviors.
This comes after police were called to Western PA Child Care in northern Butler County three separate times earlier this year after several staff members were assaulted and taken to the hospital as they tried to break up a large fight between student residents.
