A Grove City man has been charged after he allegedly stole a car last month in Grove City.
The Grove City Police that on July 8th, a vehicle was stolen by an unknown suspect from the 200 block of Jackson Street. Police say that the car was later located on South Center Extension on July 10th.
Authorities say that after locating the vehicle, they determined that 20-year-old Trenton Stearns stole the car. Police later found and arrested Stearns in Vernon Township on July 23rd.
Stearns was then placed in the Mercer County Jail on a $15,000 secured bond. He faces multiple charges including Receiving Stolen Property, Theft from a Motor Vehicle, among others.
