The Pittsburgh Penguins will officially begin its 50th anniversary celebration with a Fan Fest on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28 at CONSOL Energy Center.There will be four sessions held throughout the weekend:
Session 1 is Saturday, August 27 – 10 am to 2 pm with Session 2 – from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Session 3 is Sunday, August 28 – 10 am to 2 pm with Session 4 from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Session 3 is Sunday, August 28 – 10 am to 2 pm with Session 4 from 3 pm to 7 pm.
In addition to a variety of interactive games, kids’ activities, historical displays and breakout sessions, fans will have the chance to win access to autograph sessions with current players and locker room tours. A variety of Penguins players, coaches, executives and alumni are expected to attend.
Single-game tickets for Pittsburgh Penguins pre-season games at CONSOL Energy Center will go on sale Thursday, August 18 at 10 am. The Penguins will host the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday, September 30 at 7 pm and the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday, October 5 at 7 pm.
More than 2,000 tickets will be available for each game.
Tickets will be available for sale online on August 18 at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Box Office at CONSOL Energy Center or by calling 1.800.745.3000.
The October 8 pre-season matinee against the Columbus Blue Jackets will be the team’s sixth annual ‘Free Game for Kids.’ All 18,000-plus tickets for that game will be distributed to local youth hockey teams and other youth organizations throughout the region.
Individual game tickets for all regular season home games will go on sale Friday, August 26 at 10 am.
