This weekend will be the 18th year for the Regatta at Moraine State Park’s Lake Arthur and there are some new events planned that have never been done before.
Visitors can participate in StandUp Paddleboard Fishing, StandUp Paddleboard Yoga and take a ride on a giant StandUp Paddleboard, which can hold four people at once.
The Car Cruise has been expanded this year and will run on both Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Organizers also created a new event layout to maximize parking and create a natural amphitheater at the “Point.”
Over 10,000 park visitors are expected. Events run on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and again on Sunday, Aug. 7 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
There is no admission or parking charge and many Regatta events are free.
