Police are asking for help finding the person responsible for stealing money from a local restaurant.
According to State Police, an unknown female brought a $1 item to the register at the Clearview Mall Eat N’ Park shortly after 2 p.m. on July 8.
While the cashier was putting the money in the drawer, the woman asked for change for a $20 and confused the cashier by giving and taking money from the employee. It was later determined that the woman got away with $100.
The woman is described as roughly five feet five or six inches tall, with blonde hair, weighing about 130 to 140 pounds. She left in a small tan or light-blue sedan, which was parked across the road from the restaurant. Anyone with information should contact the Butler Barracks of the State Police.
