An event next weekend in Freeport will result in the closing of the marina.
As part of the Freeport International Baseball Invitational, fireworks will be set off the evening of Saturday, July 30th at 10 p.m.
The Borough of Freeport and the PA Fish and Boat Commission have given permission for the group to use the marina so it will be closed from 12:45 p.m. Saturday until 2:30 a.m. Sunday, July 31st.
The boat access ramp on the river will be available at no charge or restriction during that time.
