Prosecutors have dropped charges against a Gibsonia man who was accused of stealing money from an IT company that he co-founded.
47-year-old Eric Cunningham was initially charged with stealing more than $200,000 from Information Technology Procurement Sourcing—which was known at ITPS.
A lack of evidence was one of the reasons prosecutors in Allegheny County decided not to move forward with the case.
ITPS set up networking systems for businesses and school districts—and was contracted with two local school districts in the county—Karns City and Mars.
According to Mars Superintendent Dr. Wes Shipley, that contract has been transferred to BluChip Solutions through bankruptcy court proceedings. BluChip will deliver on the obligations of the ITPS contract.
