Another busy week is planned at Alameda Park.
The Free Family Summer Concert Series continues Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with the Kittanning Fireman’s Band at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.
Alameda Waterpark School Daze special is 50 percent off for anyone with a Butler School District ID or clothing on Wednesday.
Thursday the Free Outdoor Discovery Series continues at 6:30 p.m. in the Carousel Shelter with a presentation featuring live reptiles and amphibians called Let There Be Slime.
Alameda Story Adventures is free weekly storytelling for kids ages six and younger. This event will take place every Thursday from 11:30 to noon at the Rotary Shelter. No registration required.
The Moonlight Swim and Dive-in Movie at Alameda Waterpark will show The Sandlot from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday. The cost is free for waterpark members and $3 for non-members.
Finally, a family dog and nature walk is scheduled for Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. This free event will be held at the Carousel Shelter. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and all dogs must be on a leash.
