The Butler BlueSox fell on the road to the West Virginia Miners on Saturday night by a final of 8-1.
Both teams were held scoreless until the home half of the fifth inning, when West Virginia scored five runs. With the loss, the BlueSox have a record of 2-20 overall in West Virginia since 2012.
The Sox return home to Butler tonight to square off against the Champion City Paints. Tonight’s first pitch is set for 6:35pm.
