Former Freeport Yellowjackets head football coach Don Earley passed away Thursday. He led Freeport from 1967-1985 and had 19 winning seasons. They made 10 playoff trips and had seven title-game appearances. Earley was 85.
The Pittsburgh Penguins first general manager, Jack Riley died Wednesday at the age of 97. He was the Pens GM from the time they were founded in 1966 through 1970 and again from 1972-74.
