A woman is in the Butler County jail after she allegedly assaulted another woman with a screwdriver.
Butler City Police arrested 57-year-old Rachelle McMillan on charges of felony aggravated assault.
The incident happened just after 1 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 200 block of West Wayne Street. Police arrived to find a 52-year-old woman who had been stabbed in the head five to six times with a screwdriver.
The victim was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say McMillan fled the scene but was later apprehended Tuesday night. She is awaiting arraignment in the Butler County Prison.
