There have been several changes concerning hunting licenses.
Butler County Treasurer Diane Marburger says beginning Monday, July 11, her office will accept antlerless deer license applications by mail only. The cost for an antlerless license has increased to $6.90 for state residents and $26.80 for non-residents.
Checks and money orders received for the incorrect amount will not be processed and returned to the hunter.
Non-residents may now apply one week earlier for an antlerless license than in the past, beginning next Monday, July 18.
