The Pittsburgh Penguins lost to the New York Islanders 4-3 in overtime last night for the second time this week. The Islanders scored the game-winner four minutes into the extra period to extend their consecutive point streak to 16 games. The Islanders came back from two one-goal deficits in the game, and the Pens sent the game to overtime with a Patric Hornqvist goal with 30-seconds remaining in regulation. Evgeni Malkin and Bryan Rust scored the other Penguins goals.
The Pens have returned home and will host the New Jersey Devils tonight at 7pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:30pm. It is the second time in a week these two teams will meet. The Devils won the first meeting a week ago 2-1.
