The Mars Area School Board is selling the former Middlesex Elementary school.
The board accepted the $450,000 bid from S.A. Arias Holdings who plans to convert the building into an insurance call center.
The building closed to students in 2004 and had since held departments which will be relocated to administrative offices currently being renovated. The district also leased classroom space in at the facility to other organizations but those agreements expired last month.
The next step in the process is for the sale to get approval from Butler County Court of Common Pleas Judge S. Michael Yeager.
