Legendary women’s basketball coach Pat Summitt has passed away at the age of 64 after a several year battle with dementia. Summitt led the Tennessee Lady Volunteers to eight national championships and 16 SEC titles in her 38-year tenure. She had 1,098 wins compared to only 208 losses. Her win total is the most in college basketball history.
She created a foundation to help battle dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
