A Karns City apartment building caught fire Monday morning.
Neighbors saw the heavy smoke coming from the building on Petrolia Street about 8 a.m. and called 911. The building is next to the Penreco plant.
The fire reportedly started on a second floor deck.
Everyone was able to escape safely.
