Over 400 people participated in the 41st annual Butler Road Race on Saturday.
Nick Edinger of Kent, Ohio was the first to cross the finish line for the men is the 5-mile event. His time was 25:25.
LeAnn Wirfel of Slippery Rock was the first woman to cross with a time of 29:46.
In the 2K Health Walk & Run, Andrew Mascio of Cranberry Township finished with a time of 6:35 followed by Krista Snyder of West Sunbury with a time of 8:01.
Proceeds support the “Scholarships For Kids” program, which provides academic scholarships to senior cross country runners at county high schools.
