The 41st annual Butler Road Race will be run Saturday.
The event starts with a 2K Health Walk & Run beginning at 9 a.m., followed a few minutes later with a 5-Mile Run. Both races are run in downtown Butler beginning on Main Street in front of the Butler County Courthouse.
Registration and pre-registration packet pick-up takes place at the Cubs Hall on McKean Street in Butler from 4-6pm Friday. Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in Diamond Park.
Proceeds support the “Scholarships For Kids” program, which provides academic scholarships to senior cross country runners at county high schools.
The event is sponsored by the Butler Health System.
