The city of Butler will begin their paving project next week.
Portions of West Diamond, Spruce, East Penn, North Sixth, Old New Castle, and Eisler Streets will be paved by Wiest Paving at a cost of almost $124,000.
Weather permitting, that work is expected to take about ten days.
The City Redevelopment Authority is contracting to pave portions of Heim, Brugh, Pleasantview, and East Boyd Avenues as well as Hickory Street.
The City of Butler Streets department will also do some paving in house near the end of July on Woodlawn and Goldwood Avenues in addition to Jackson Street and the ally between Oak and Monroe Streets.
Residents can call the city’s Pot Hole Hotline at 724-285-8440 if they see a spot that needs attention.
