An event scheduled for Friday will help local veterans live healthier this summer.
VA Butler Healthcare is hosting a Sun Safety and Cancer Prevention event Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the lawn outside the Primary Care Main Entrance.
The goal of this event is to provide those attending with more information about sun protection and prevention of skin cancer.
Veterans, family members, volunteers, and community members are welcome to attend. Visit prevention.va.gov for more information.
