Multiple crews have responded to reports of the smell of natural gas along Route 19.
Several different callers notified the Butler County 911 Center of the odor shortly after noon on Friday.
Crews from Cranberry and Adams Township were among those responding to multiple locations to investigate including the PNC Bank along Route 19.
A construction crew working along Old Freedom Road notified the gas company that they had struck a gas line while working and repairs are in the process of being made.
