Butler City Police are investigating after gunshots rang out over the weekend outside a Butler City bar.
Deputy Chief David Adam does not believe anyone was shot in the incident, which happened about 1 a.m. Saturday on Third Avenue at Pillow Street near Pullman Park Bar, formerly known as My Buddy’s Place.
“Officers recovered five spent shell casings,” Adam said Tuesday. “There is surveillance video that we are reviewing. There was also a witness but we’re not sure at this point exactly what that person saw.”
Officers also do not know what type of gun was used.
