The Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA championship following a 93-89 victorty over Golden State in game seven of their series last night in Oakland, California. The Cavs rallied from a 3-1 series deficit to give the city of Cleveland their first major sports championship since 1964. LeBron James was named the NBA Finals MVP following a 27-point, 11-assist and 11-rebound effort last night. It was his third finals MVP, after winning in Miami in 2012 and 2013.
