The State Police in Butler have charged a suspect who is responsible for several burglaries in our area that date back to 2015.
Authorities say that in late April, an investigation began after the most recent burglary.
In that case, the suspect forced his way through into the residence through the victim’s garage before taking off. During this theft, the suspect was caught on video surveillance.
Upon their investigation, authorities identified and charged 45-year-old Kenneth Lipscomb of Butler. Officials say that in the three cases, the suspect stole jewelry from a total of six suspects, which includes a Butler area jeweler.
Lipscomb faces charges such as burglary, criminal trespass, and receiving stolen property among others.
