Several local police departments are asking for your help in locating a suspect from an incident in Butler City earlier this morning.
The State Police in Butler say just after midnight, the Butler City Police attempted to pull over a black Jeep Compass at the intersection of Wallula Avenue and West Boyd Avenue.
Authorities say that the driver, 26-year-old Clecy Thompson of Butler did not stop for the officers, and then abandoned his car and fled on foot. City and State police then conducted a search for Thompson, and were unable to find him.
Officials say that Thompson, who is already wanted on a bench warrant from another incident, will face charges.
