The jobs reports is in for the month of May and shows unemployment rose again in Pennsylvania last month.
It climbed 2-tenths of a point up to 5.5 percent. The national rate is 4.7 percent and that number fell by 3-tenths of a point in May.
The state Department of Labor and Industry reports that nonfarm jobs total took a hit during the month- down by more than 10,000- while 15,000 more people joined the civilian labor force.
