The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the visiting St. Louis Cardinals on Saturday night at PNC Park by a final of 5-1.
The Bucs, who lost starting catcher Francisco Cervelli to a broken hand, also lost backup Chris Stewart in the 7th inning last night to a sore foot. Newly acquired catcher Erik Kratz finished the game behind the plate. Team officials expect Cervelli, who had surgery on his hand yesterday, to come back in four to six weeks. Team officials did not reveal when Stewart may return.
The Buccos will wrap up their three game series with the Cardinals this afternoon at PNC Park. You can catch all of the action, starting with pregame coverage on WISR 680AM. First pitch is set for 5:05pm.
